A big thank you must go to Graham, Ellie and Louise for buying new bowls for the animals over the weekend. We just love the way in which you have decorated the bowls and we are sure that the animals appreciate the art too! Graham is the man who successfully filmed and produced the Carte Blanche documentary on Cheetah Experience last year. Our response was fantastic! He returned for three days to film more footage and what he will do with that remains a surprise…you’ll have to wait a little longer to find out! For all the jobs, chores and duties you carried out this weekend: Thank you and we hope to see you soon!

New bowls for the cheetahs…
Monday, January 10th, 2011Japan TV films at Cheetah Experience
Sunday, November 7th, 2010During the last week, a film crew all the way from Japan spent 3 whirlwind days putting together a documentary at Cheetah Experience. The documentary was about wild life in general with a special focus on the cheetah. The days were busy, exhausting, exciting and a success all in one. At first we took a while to get used to conversing as we they had to bring a translator along but before long we had mastered the art of communicating through a third party! Off film, we had loads of fun teaching them to braai (in the rain) and not even the weather with its strong wind and rain drops could dampen their determination. The evening after that we treated them to a truly South African potjie under the stars and amongst the sounds of the big cats.
We hope to see you soon. Thank you to the crew members.
A concert in aid of Cheetah Experience…
Saturday, November 6th, 2010Trisch, from Dischem Foundation invited the staff at Cheetah Experience to attend a Carol’s by Candlelight on Friday evening. While there, we were fortunate enough to meet the members from Alter Irving! Trisch brought the band members to visit our menagerie of animals the day after. Needless to say there was much ‘ooooohing’ and ‘aaaaahing’…
Trisch and the band really want to help as and they put their heads together and decided that the band is going to put on show in Johannesburg in aid of Cheetah Experience! What more could we ask for? Thank you for your generosity and valued support.
