Our darling Jack, a 5 month old caracal, had his first pigeon for lunch today. The bird was already dead but Jack quickly got to work, first he played with it, then he threw it up into the air and then he began to pluck the feathers out in preparation of his first bite. He sure seemed to be in 7th heaven and the photograph below shows exactly what we mean!
