Our darling Jack, Jubatus’ brother, died on Friday night, 23 October at about 19:30 after much pain and suffering. We are all still in shock and it’s a very sensitive issue for all of us. I miss him terribly as I raised Jack and Jubatus – they were my first cubs… they both slept in my bed for a long time. I was their ‘mommy’. I feel lost and empty. Why ‘little eyes’ why did you have to go like that? We would like to thank the vets at Bloemfontein Animal Clinic for their assistance.
Bibi, the cheetah who was born without a tail, also had her bought of being on a drip. Bibi has up to this point, never required veterinary assistance. One week and two magnificent creatures that had to be nursed all night. .. vety trying and emotional. Bibi is since fine, after 4 days of not eating or drinking. In both cases a final diagnosis has not been made.
I am appealing to all of you…we have SERIOUS vet bills to pay. If you are in a position to assist in any way, please contact us.
RIP Jack Paddy-Whack…
On a brighter note, Jubatus and I spent a good while playing in the mud, what a great way to de-stress! After all, I think he misses his brother.
