Today, Riana decided to spoil us all with dinner at Bain’s Game Lodge! We couldn’t have asked for more after a busy day. We usually meet once a month where the volunteers discuss possible changes, the animals, the arrival of new cubs and it provides time for us to reconnect and laugh. It’s not too long though before someone looks at their watch and then taps the face of the watch to indicate that cubs have to drink soon.
We are planning a counrty and western evening on the 3rd October at the sanctuary, tickets are R100 each. Our aim is to raise money for cheetah breeding camps and lion camps. We are going to have a bit of karaoke, ride the bull, a spit braai and then an auction. We are in need of people sponsoring/donating prizes towards the evening. Cash contributions to pay for the hire of the ‘ride the bull’ and the ‘karaoke’ would be great. We already have a weekend away to auction off and lamb on thge spit that has been donated.
Let us know if you can help in a teeny tiny way….a bottle of whiskey will give a few people thier welcome drink!
